	Mr. J.P. Patel (B.E.Mech) is experienced technocrat with more than 40 years experience in submersible pump line. He started career as R&D engineer leading pump company.
	Mr. J.G.Bhadbhade (B.E.Mettalurgy, MBA) is the Director (Marketing) and an application-engineering expert in this field. He is widely acknowledged to be instrumental in introducing and establishing dry motor submersible pump concept in India.
	Mr. Abhinay J. Patel (B.E.Production, PGDFM) is the Director (Technical & Production) has expertise in Computer Aided Hydraulic Design. He heads the R&D Department which is the core strength of Aqua. He is a closely related to many universities. He is academics oriented engineer.

 Product heritage
Dry motor submersible pumps earlier (in 1980s) in use in India were primarily based on imported European Designs & not particularly suitable for Indian operating conditions characterized by high ambient temperatures, fluctuating electric supply conditions & poor solid waste management.

“Aqua”® was the first to identify this fundamental engineering fault & its proactive R&D department significantly modified/upgraded the basic European designs to enhance their efficiency, reliability & operational convenience under the prevailing operating conditions.

Aqua manufactures only dry motor submersible non clogging pumps ( for sewage, drainage, storm water, effluents, slurries, silt pumpage, raw water supply, etc ). This is a very sharp contrast to other pump manufacturers whose primary production comprises wet motor submersible pumps / bare shaft pumps This ensures focused and undiluted organizational attention on this special product ( dry motor pumps ).

These second generation pumps progressively found wide acceptance with their users all over India as is evident from the rapidly expanding “Aqua”®’s satisfied customer list which includes many prestigious orders from such prestigious clients like :

• India’s Largest Hydro Power Station has chosen our Submersible Slurry Pumps (10nos x 300hp) for ultra critical & arduous drainage & dewatering duty of the under ground power house. Our pumps were chosen (over foreign pumps) after our ex-stock pump had successfully dewatered the power house during a catastrophic flooding.
• India’s Largest Shipyard (Pvt. Sector) uses our Submersible Dredging Pumps & has placed repeat orders for the same against their original imported pumps.
• One of India’s Largest Power Generation Company (Pvt. Sector) uses 6nos of our 270hp Submersible Raw Water pumps for water harvesting at its hydro power station.
• India’s Oldest & one of the Largest Steel Plant uses our Submersible Dredging Pumps to remove settled mill scale from cooling water pits.
• One of Sri Lanka’s Largest Sewage Pumping Station uses our Dry Pit Installed Non Clog Flood Proof pumps, which have actually outperformed more established global makes ( measured as a function of lower clogging & lesser breakdowns ).
• India’s Single Largest Order for Submersible Sewage Non Clog pumps ( in terms of motor ratings – 12nos x 300hp) has been executed by us.
• India’s Largest Single Order for Submersible Sewage Non Clog pumps (in terms of commercial value : 26nos of 120 to 140hp ) has been executed by us.
• 3nos of our 150hp submersible non clog pumps (supplied and commissioned just within a week); came to the rescue of citizens of Ulhasnagar & Ambernath to restore their water supply (which was cut off due to catastrophic barrage bursting at Ambernath during the unprecedented rains around the Mumbai region in 2004).

  - Vadodara Municipal Corporation uses a vast array of our sub sewage pumps (3    nos. of 180hp; 6nos of 120hp, 9nos. of 90hp, 3nos of 60hp, 3 no sof 50hp, etc).

  - 5 nos. of 150hp pumps for Nasik Municipal Corporation,

 R & D

Enthusiastic & competent R&D is our core strength - it enables us to develop pumps (as per customer’s exact requirements) within a short time & reasonable costs - we have designed (from scratch), manufactured & successfully commissioned submersible pumps for water intake (270hp x 6nos) for a leading power generating company in a record time of 6weeks. Our computer aided impeller design software considerably shortens design times while in-house pattern shop ensures timely transition of designs to patterns. We make extensive use of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to improve product robustness.

CADesigned impellers have large solid passages, superior anti clogging properties & yet deliver high efficiency.



 Quality Control
Our pumps are designed to perform above the industrial standards ( high reliability & low maintenance) - hence instead of using industrial standard (off the shelf) motors, we make our own motors. We use dual coated winding wires, Class ”F or H” insulating materials & design them for higher starting torques & ample reserve margins. These are epoxy resin impregnated under vacuum to eliminate any residual air pockets.

All motors are tested on sophisticated oscillographic tester for winding insulation integrity . Making our own motors makes it possible for us to fine tune their output characteristics to the pump’s exact input requirements thereby ensuring smooth performance at site. Hermetic sealing of motors is a critical aspect of our QA & each motor has to pass through multiple tests to prove it.

Constant analysis of field performance & receptiveness to customer’s feedback gives us deeper insight into the realities of sewage pumping. After all it is this insight which guided us in developing our 2nd generation pumps. Our quality tests exceed the industry standards & include many ingenious “acid” tests - so critical to avoiding failure under adverse conditions !
